I have a friend from high school I need to break up with. She’s a fine person, just after this many years, we just don’t have anything in common. She has no interest in:
- movies
- music
- politics
- new people
- anything outdoors
- technology
- social causes
- anything that costs money
- reading
- concerts
- travel
- mexican food
These are my lifeblood. Without them, I really don’t have much to talk about or do. I’m supposed to go over there tonight for the first time in a few months. I was excited because we were actually going to dinner, which would be a normal person thing to do. But no. Now she just wants to stay in because she doesn’t want to miss the finale of American Idol.
So bitter.
Ooh! I just found out that idol starts at 8, so I should only have to be there for an hour and a half! HURRAY!!!
